I wrote a series of articles about the deterioration of the seawall along Lake Shore Drive in Grosse Pointe Farms and Grosse Pointe Shores. The deterioration was leading to land erosion between Lake St. Clair and Lake Shore, causing sinkholes and potentially serious hazards for pedestrians and motorists. I spoke with municipal and county leaders and Congresswoman Brenda Lawrence (U.S. Representative of Michigan's 14th congressional district from 2015 to 2023).
